Since 2014, Taller Stories has grown from small, self-produced projects into a full-service video production company working with leading Irish and international brands. Our work now spans commercials, brand films and social content.
We aim to take every project to the next level and bring fresh ideas to the table every time.
Our Story
Co-founders Colin and Steve met while both studying Audio Visual Media in IT Tallaght. Things like YouTube, Facebook or Insta wasn't a big thing when we started out as students but it certainly was when we left.
Colin stepped into the world of brands through working on he agency side while Steve had a stint as Assistant Director working on film and TV sets. The industry was changing fast with new ways to create and after a handshake in a pub, they decided to combine their experience by working together as Taller Stories.
Early days were a mix of low-budget documentaries, first commercial projects and a lot of miles on the road. Doing whatever we could, wherever we could. Shooting at events, editing in the car, and delivering videos the next day (often while trying not to get travel sick).
As we grew, we invested in better camera gear and we got better too - largely through collaboration with a host of talented people across all departments. Our short films have screened at Galway Film Festival, DIFF and Fastnet, picking up awards along the way.
At the same time, our brand work has gone from strength to strength. Some of the clients we started working with over 10 years ago are still with us today... which probably says more than anything else.
